Recently, the focus of the Grade 8 physics curriculum has been on studying fluid pressure. What factors are related to the magnitude of fluid pressure?

Students have engaged in hands-on exploration and drawn upon their life experiences to propose various conjectures about the factors associated with fluid pressure. They suggested that fluid pressure may be influenced by factors such as motion status, fluid depth, type of fluid, area of force application, direction of force, and the shape of the fluid.

在学习过程中,同学们通过动手实验并结合生活经验,提出了许多液体压强关联因素的猜想。他们认为液体压强可能与运动状态、液体深度、液体种类、受力面积大小、受力方向以及液体形状等因素有关。

To test these conjectures, we conducted a series of experiments. The students actively participated in group interactions, collaboratively designed experiments, and recorded their observations. They utilised various tools and equipment to measure fluid pressure and analyse the collected data. Through experimentation and discussions, they gradually arrived at conclusions regarding the factors that affect fluid pressure.

为了验证这些猜想,我们进行了一系列实验。孩子们积极参与小组互动,共同设计实验并记录观察结果。他们使用了各种工具和设备,测量液体压强并分析数据。通过实验和讨论,他们逐渐得出了有关液体压强影响因素的结论。


In addition to the conclusions provided in the textbooks, the students discovered, through their experiments, that the magnitude of fluid pressure is influenced by the motion status of objects. This demonstrates their keen observational skills and their ability to think beyond the confines of the textbook. It also reflects the 6C core competencies of our school: Critical Thinking and Curiosity.

除了书本上给出的结论,同学们还通过实验得出,液体压强大小与物体的运动状态有关,这展示了他们敏锐的观察力,以及超越课本的思考能力,同时也体现了斐特思学校6C核心素养——批判性思维(Critical Thinking)和好奇心(Curiosity)。

Furthermore, during the practical process, the students actively engaged in teamwork, exchanging ideas, sharing experimental results, and helping one another solve problems. This collaborative approach not only deepened their understanding of physics content but also fostered their cooperative skills and their ability to engage in scientific exploration.

物理课堂中有大量的实验探究,在实践过程中,学生们通过团队合作,积极交流想法,分享实验结果,并相互帮助解决问题。这种小组互动的方式不仅加深了他们对物理知识的理解,还培养了他们的合作技能和科学探索的能力。
