We are thrilled to announce that two-thirds of our Grade 11 students have achieved satisfying IELTS scores - their overall band score is at least 6.5, a common requirement for college application overseas. This is a not only proof that the English department has achieved significant results in the differentiated teaching plan for Grades 9 and 10 in the Senior School, but also the personalised tutoring system for Grade 11. This represents a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to the hard work and dedication of both teachers and students in improving English language learning.

As we move forward after the AS exams, we understand that some of our Grade 11 students may need additional support to further increase their IELTS scores. Therefore, we are offering one-to-one or one-to-two tutorials to those who require extra assistance. These tutorials will be held until the start of summer vacation, providing students with the individualised attention students need to excel in the IELTS exam.

In addition to the tutorials, we are excited to announce that our school will be hosting an IELTS summer camp for senior students in the first two weeks of the summer holidays. It is designed to help senior school students either consolidate the IELTS foundation course (Grades 9 and 10) or prepare students for the IELTS exam in a fun and interactive environment (Grades 10 and 11). Through a combination of engaging activities, practice tests, and expert guidance, students will have the opportunity to hone their IELTS skills and boost their confidence before taking the exam.
