Recently, we conducted a phase review in our G7 and G8 history classrooms. Through the history online game QUIZIZZ as well as practice tests and unit Summative Assessments, we revisited the development of the country during the Sui, Tang, and Song periods in Ancient History and the arduous path of exploring the construction of socialism in New China in Modern History.

近期,历史课堂上同学们进行了阶段性回顾总结。课堂上,通过历史游戏QUIZIZZ答题、习题测试以及单元总结性评估,重温了七年级古代史中隋唐、两宋时期国家的发展以及八年级现代史新中国探索社会主义建设的艰辛道路。


The QUIZIZZ game greatly increased students' interest in answering the questions by allowing them to play different roles, choose different modes, and incentives during the game. In the game, G7 students need to use historical information and Internet resources, and through answering questions and upgrading in the game, they can experience the prosperity and openness of the Sui and Tang dynasties and the ethnic integration of the Liao, Song, Xia and Jin dynasties. G8 students also need to use history textbooks and teaching aids to understand the arduous journey of the builders of New China. The process of answering questions in the game is not only the examination of historical knowledge, but also the challenge and exercise of students' thinking ability.

QUIZIZZ游戏答题让学生扮演不同的角色、选择不同的模式以及设置有效的激励机制,极大地提高了学生的学习兴趣。在游戏中,七年级的学生需要借助历史资料和网络资源,在游戏中通过答题升级,体会隋唐时期的繁荣开放以及辽宋夏金时期的民族交融。八年级的学生同样需要根据历史资料,在游戏中感悟新中国建设者建设国家的艰辛历程。游戏答题过程不仅仅是对历史知识的考察,也是对学生思维能力的挑战和锻炼。


In addition to the QUIZIZZ, there was an exercise test in G7 and a unit Summative Assessment in G8. The Summative Assessment in G8 required students to vividly express their understanding and awareness of the historical events and figures of CHINA by writing and reciting an award speech for the socialist builders of CHINA as the host of an award party. Through the Summative Assessment, students not only practiced their language expression skills, but also improved their ability to create words. The enhancement of these abilities will help students to study and develop better and will also help them in their future work and life.

在QUIZIZZ答题之外,八年级进行了单元总结性评估。学生以颁奖晚会主持人的身份,通过为新中国社会主义建设者撰写并诵读颁奖词,生动地表达出自己对新中国历史事件和人物的理解和认识。通过总结性评估,学生不仅锻炼了语言表达能力,还提高了语言创作能力。这些能力的提升,将有助于学生更好地学习和发展,也将有助于他们未来的工作和生活。
