EY | The EY4 Eagles Soar Through Their Second Semester 大班孩子在知识的天空中自由翱翔

The new semester began with an exploration of the topic of "Journeys" - finding out where we are to determine where we want to be. EY4 students planned their goals for the year, and these were shared with the rest of EY during our Flag Raising Ceremony.

大班小朋友以探究 “旅程”主题拉开了新学期的序幕。在任何旅程中,我们都要清楚自己的起点,以及想要到达的目的地,学习之旅亦是如此。孩子们写下了2024年自己希望达成的目标,并在集会上与幼儿园所有的孩子们分享。

From excelling in mathematics to making new friends, our students shared a variety of goals that hold importance to them. We have encouraged them to express themselves and share their goals with others, fostering discussions on how they can work together to achieve their aspirations.

孩子们的目标各有不同,有的孩子希望成为数学方面的佼佼者,有的则希望结交更多的新朋友。我们鼓励孩子们勇敢地表达、分享自己的想法,并在小组中探讨如何实现这些目标。


Through the adventures of Marco Polo, the EY4 Eagles embarked on a journey to explore the captivating history of Ancient China and its wonders. From taking a virtual trip to the Great Wall, to investigating the art of paper making and delving into the significance and properties of salt, students actively applied a range of skills throughout their lessons.

在世界之旅的探究上,孩子们通过阅读《马可·波罗游记》,了解了中国古代的历史及文化奇观。他们从“参观”长城,到了解造纸术,再到探索盐的重要性和特性,还在各种活动中掌握了新技能。

Students were fully immersed in a captivating project focused on papermaking and the recycling process. During our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) class, students explored the entire paper creation process, from collecting and preparing materials to forming their own distinct sheets of paper. This hands-on approach has not only ignited their curiosity but also nurtured a deeper understanding of sustainability and environmental responsibility. We eagerly anticipate further exploration of "Journeys" by our EY4 children.
