随着智能手机的普及，手机具备了通讯、社交、娱乐和学习等多种功能，也已融入到了人们生活的方方面面。为了帮助学生养成合理、适度使用手机的习惯，在学校专心学习，防止沉迷网络和游戏，确保学生身心健康发展，广州斐特思公学根据教育部办公厅发布的《关于加强中小学手机管理工作的通知》中各项要求，制定了如下有关学生手机管理的政策。

With the popularity of smart phones, mobile phones have multiple functions, such as communication, social interaction, entertainment and learning, which have been integrated into all aspects of people's lives. In order to help students develop the habit of reasonable and moderate use of mobile phones, concentrate on their study in school, prevent them from indulging in the Internet and games, and ensure the healthy development of students' body and mind, Fettes College Guangzhou has formulated a policy on the management of students' mobile phones according to the requirements of the notice on strengthening the management of mobile phones in primary and secondary schools issued by the general office of the Ministry of Education.

一、 手机有限带入校园。

1、 Mobile phone Limited into the campus.

学校通知家长教学区域严禁学生携带手机和使用手机。住宿生在得到家长同意并书面申请后，可以带入住宿区域。进入宿舍后，交由舍监统一保管。

The school informed parents that students are not allowed to carry or use mobile phones in the teaching area. With the consent of parents and written application, the boarders can be brought mobile phones into the boarding area. After entering the boarding area, the mobile phones should be handed over to the house parents.

二、 手机管理的具体措施

手机管理是广州斐特思公学日常管理的一部分。为了确保学生合理、适度使用手机，确保学生身心健康发展，制定以下具体管理措施：

1. 限制使用场域

只有经过家长同意且书面申请的初中住宿生，可以在住宿区域，在宿舍老师监管下使用手机。

2. 限制使用时间

初中生住宿生每天使用手机时间不超过20分钟。使用时间为周一到周四晚上8:00-8:30。小学生住宿生不得使用手机。

3. 明确手机用途

学生使用手机联系家长、亲戚和朋友。除此之外，还可用于

1）查看新闻

2）查阅资料

3）听音乐

4）拍摄或观赏照片或视频

上述所有使用手机的情况，均需在宿舍教师的监管之下进行。

4. 不用手机布置作业

广州斐特思公学将加强课堂教学和作业管理，不用手机布置作业或要求学生利用手机完成作业。

Fettes College Guangzhou will not assign students homework using mobile phones nor ask students to use their mobile phones to complete homework.

2、 Measures of mobile phone management

Mobile phone management is a part of the daily management of Fettes College Guangzhou. To ensure that students use mobile phones reasonably and moderately, and to ensure the healthy development of students' body and mind, the following specific management measures are formulated:

1). Venue of using Mobile phones

Only those students who have obtained parents' consent and written application can use mobile phones in the accommodation area under the supervision of boarding staff.

2). Mobile Phone Time

Middle school students should not use mobile phones more than 30 minutes Per day. The use time is 8:00-8:20 PM from Monday to Thursday. Primary School students are not allowed to use mobile phone.

3). Make clear the purpose of using mobile phone

Students use mobile phones to contact their parents, relatives and friends. In addition, it can also be used for

i) Browse news

ii) Access to age-appropriate website

iii) Listen to music

iv) Take photos or watch videos

All the above use of mobile phones should be under the supervision of Boarding staff.

三、 规范手机保管

学生的手机除在规定使用的时间外，均由宿舍老师统一保管在指定的位置。手机在保管期间，必须保持关机状态。

3、 The storage of mobile phones

Students' mobile phones are kept in designated places by boarding staffs. Except for the approved and supervised using time, the mobile phones must be turned off during storage.

四、 加强合理使用手机的教育引导

广州斐特思公学将通过国旗下讲话、班团队会、心理辅导、校规校纪等多种形式加强对合理使用手机的教育引导，让学生科学理性对待并合理使用手机，提高学生信息素养和自我管理能力，避免简单粗暴管理行为。

4、 Strengthen the education and guidance of rational use of mobile phones

Fettes College Guangzhou will strengthen the education and guidance on the rational use of mobile phones through various forms such as speeches under the national flag, tutors time, psychological counseling, school rules and regulations, to let students treat mobile phones scientifically and rationally, improve their information literacy and self-management skills.

五、做好家校沟通

广州斐特思公学将通过邮件、家长工作坊、新闻通讯等方式，告知学校的手机管理政策，让家长明确过度使用手机的危害和提供管教孩子合理使用的手机的方法。教育家长也应履行教育职责，家校协同，共同加强对孩子使用手机的督促管理，帮助孩子养成良好习惯。

5、 Communication between home and school

Fettes College Guangzhou will inform the school's mobile phone management policy through e-mail, parents' workshop, news communication and other means, so that parents can make clear the harm of excessive use of mobile phones and provide ways to discipline their children to use mobile phones reasonably. Parents should also fulfill their educational responsibilities, cooperate with school, and jointly strengthen the supervision and management of children's use of mobile phones, so as to help children develop good habits.
