EY|探究“不同的感官”

This week, Deer class has been exploring the fascinating topic of the human senses. They have delved into the intricate ways in which we interact with the world around us, recognising the individuality of these interactions among people. Additionally, we have thoroughly examined the intriguing concept that a stimulus can be perceived in diverse ways depending on whether a specific sense is engaged or excluded from the experience.

这周小鹿班的孩子们进行了关于“我的感官”的探究。孩子们了解了如何运用感官与周围世界互动,也认识到每个小朋友探索了解世界的方式都是不一样的。老师们设置了不同的场景,让孩子们通过特定的感官去感觉不同的物体,同时让孩子们探讨如果失去某种感官能力,我们对事物又会有怎样不一样的感受。比如当我们失去味觉时,我们还能感受到柠檬的味道吗?

Circle Time 圆圈时间

During our engaging circle time session, we explored the intriguing realm of taste sensation. To foster a hands-on experience, we organised a captivating food tasting activity. It was fascinating to witness the children's varied preferences and discernments regarding different tastes. Some of them even attempted to draw comparisons between the novel flavours and the familiar foods they regularly consume. One particularly noteworthy observation emerged: the children recognised the taste of salt, associating it with their home-cooked meals, suggesting that salt is a common ingredient in their household cuisine.

老师准备了各种口味的食物,鼓励孩子们通过品尝不同的食物探究不同的味觉感受。孩子们对自己喜欢和不喜欢的口味展开了深入的讨论,同时还将品尝到的味道和自己经常吃的食物进行比较,有了新的学习体验。有趣的是孩子们在讨论“咸”的味道时,很多小朋友在家里也有类似感受,对这种味道很熟悉。

Inquiry Time Activity 探究时间

During our captivating inquiry time, we embarked on a hands-on experiment that involved the children utilising their feet to explore and engage with various textures. As they immersed their feet in the different textures, the children eagerly expressed their observations and sensations. The teachers diligently documented these valuable insights, which were then showcased on the observation board, serving as a springboard for further exploration and discovery in the future.

孩子们还进行了一项实验,他们通过踩踏、揉搓、蹦跳等行为来感受不同物体的材质,并尝试着描述这些物体给他们带来的感受。 老师们记录了孩子们的观察和发现,并将其贴在观察板上,以供进一步的探索。

Sensory Free Play 感官自由探索

We curated an assortment of captivating sensory puzzles and tasks for the children to engage with at their own pace. This allowed them the freedom to explore and interact with the activities as they desired. It was delightful to witness the children relishing the independence to choose their preferred activities and seamlessly transition between them.

老师们还设置了各种活动让孩子们充分运用自己的感官进行探究,发现和体会不同感官的感受和作用。孩子们很享受能够自由地选择自己喜欢的游戏,并在游戏中和同伴分享自己的感受。

Throughout this inquiry unit, the children have consistently displayed a remarkable level of enthusiasm and curiosity, resulting in exceptional observations. We are pleased to affirm that the entire class has developed a solid foundational comprehension of their senses and the remarkable manner in which we employ them to engage with the world around us. Their active participation and insightful contributions have been instrumental in fostering this deep understanding.

在“我是谁”的探究过程中,孩子们表现出了极大的兴趣和出色的观察能力,他们能够探究和表达独一无二的自己,了解自己的喜好和能力。 我们很高兴看到小鹿班的孩子们开始学习对周围环境和自我进行探究,积累了很多关于感官以及如何利用感官来感知世界的经验。
