Our guiding principle at FCG is Sport for All which we balance with our inherited ethos of sporting excellence from Fettes College in the UK. We aim to instil in our students a lifelong love of sport and physical activity, and whether an enthusiastic amateur or future Olympian, we support each of our students to achieve their sporting goals.

作为一所寄宿学校，广州斐特思高度重视体育运动为学生们的身心发展带来的积极影响，学生们可在学习与运动之间找到平衡。我们为体育运动分配了大量时间：每周五下午为全员运动时间，全校可以提供超30种运动设施设备与场地支持，如马术、曲棍球、网球、高尔夫、壁球、游泳、篮球、足球等。我们的中外体育教师队伍中，不乏国家级运动员和专业国际持证教练。

Informed by our appreciation of the tremendous benefit sport can have on the physical and mental development of students, we seek to maximise the opportunities for all our students to engage with as wide a variety of sporting activities as possible during their time at FCG. Our Chinese and expat specialist PE teachers include national level athletes and professional international certified coaches. Working as a team they deliver the core Physical Education curriculum across all years, differentiated as appropriate to support skill acquisition and encourage enjoyment. Friday is our dedicated Games afternoon where we can undertake sporting challenges and students learn the value of healthy competition and teamwork. Elite sports coaching is offered at various points throughout the week across a variety of sports and supported by external specialists. Breadth of sporting opportunities is further enhanced through the co-curicular and Active Lunchtimes programmes which prioritise fun and maximise participation. Collectively FCG provides over 30 different sporting facilities including equestrian, hockey, tennis, golf, squash, swimming, basketball, football and so on.
