进入斐特思的校门，你就进入了一个魔法的世界。3月27日，广州斐特思公学开通“魔法之门”，举办“魔法学校 经典重现”主题开放日活动。斐特思全体老师化身“魔法师”带领每个家庭探索斐特思的魅力。
Entering the gate of Fettes College Guangzhou, you enter a magical world. On March 27th, Fettes College Guangzhou opened the "Gate of Magic" and held a wonderful open day event with the theme of "Magical Learning Journey".

打破时空的界限，家长和孩子们回到了150年前的斐特思公学，在星光之下，感受百年公学的历史底蕴。
By walking through the magical time tunnel into our school, prospective families were transpated through 150 years of Fettes heritage.

Fettes has grown for 150 years. It has achieved outstanding results in various fields such as academics, sports, politics and The Arts. Fettes College Guangzhou (FCG) is the first overseas campus of Fettes College. Our new school is very closely linked to Fettes College and shares its ethos and vision: to provide the highest quality of holistic, broad based education that will stretch and challenge its pupils and equip them with the qualifications, skills and personal qualities that will allow them to flourish and succeed in their lives beyond school.

Parent Information Session
家长说明会让家长们更全面的了解广州斐特思公学。开场一个小短片记录斐特思150年的过去与现在，中方陈亮校长及英方校长Mr. Marco Longmore做欢迎致辞，并从斐特思独特的教育理念、课程设置、师资团队以及人才培养方向等内容进行了详细的分享。各学部校长也对自己的学部做了详细的介绍。
The Parent Information Session gives parents a more comprehensive understanding of Fettes College Guangzhou. The opening film records the past and present of Fettes history. Our Head of College Mr. Marco Longmore and Chinese Head of College Mr. Chen Liang gave welcome speeches and shared our unique educational philosophy, curriculum, teaching team and talent training direction. The heads of each schools also gave a detailed introduction on the features of our four schools.
寄宿体验
Funky Friday
为了更好的让孩子们感受英式寄宿制，斐特思在开放日前一天开放宿舍，让孩子们前来体验。在斐特思我们有经验丰富的舍监，有极好的英语沟通环境，有混龄的家庭制度，还有丰富多彩的宿舍活动。晚自习过后，孩子们就会回到“家”来，感受家的温馨。
Some children also experienced our British boarding life. At Fettes, we have experienced house parents, an excellent English communication environment, a mixed-age family system, and a variety of house activities.
在开放日当天，我们的人文关怀副校长Mr. Simon Bennie带领家长们参观了我们的宿舍的各个功能空间，一同畅想有趣的寄宿生活。
On the Open Day, our Head of Pastoral Care & Boarding, Mr. Simon Bennie, led the visit for parents to our boarding house to experience how awesome boarding life can be.
魔法体验课
Magical Classes
魔法因“我”而存在，本次开放日所有的体验课都围绕魔法学校的主题开展，这也是广州斐特思公学跨学科主题单元学习的一个小小缩影。老师们用孩子们喜闻乐见的方式，让孩子在轻松愉悦的氛围中掌握各学科的知识点。
All demo classes were based on the theme of magic. Teachers used innovative attention-grabbing ways to start their lessons and allowed pupils to experience learning in various subjects in purposeful yet calm atmosphere.
斐特思幼儿园当天共开设“神奇的世界、旋转的春天、小小探索家、小小智多星、小小厨师和旋风足球”六门课程。给予孩子们一个舒适的、充满趣味的学习环境，通过自己动手操作，引发孩子智力上的唤醒和兴趣。
The Early Years School of Fettes College Guangzhou opened a total of six courses: "Steam-Magical World, ART—The Spinning Spring, Station learning—Little Explorers, Station learning-Little Mastermind, Global Citizens-Mini Master Chefs". These courses created a comfortable and interesting learning environment, and grew the children's intellectual and interest.
斐特思小学当天共开设“数学游戏、故事会、艺术课和旋风足球”四门体验课程，通过一套缜密的学习评估方法，切实保障每个孩子的个性化发展。
The Primary School of Fettes College Guangzhou offered four experience courses : math games, story sessions, art class and football class.
初中部当天共开设“英语课、数学课及科学探究”三门课程。看似寻常的三门课程在斐特思玩出了新花样。
The Middle Shcool of Fettes College Guangzhou offered three courses:English class, math class and scientific inquiry.
为了帮助初高中孩子提前做好大学申请规划，广州斐特思公学在开放日当天开设升学指导讲座。
In order to help Middle and Senior School pupils plan their college application in advance, Fettes College Guangzhou held the first of a programme of college guidance lectures.
4月，斐特思各个学部仍然有非常多精彩绝伦的开放日活动，欢迎每一个家庭来到美丽的斐特思校园。
In April, there are many wonderful open day activities at Fettes College Guangzhou, and we welcome everyone to come to visit our beautiful campus.
